Did you know that Every time a synthetic garment is washed, it releases tiny plastic microfibers into the water? Up to 500,000 tons of microfibers end up in the ocean every year. Synthetic garments can consist of polyester, nylon and/ or acrylic. At Torso, we call them the 3 musty materials to avoid. The lack of streetwear items for tall women in mainstream fashion brands was a key driver in the creation of Torso. Although streetwear outfits is an ongoing trend, it does not always equate to comfort, therefore TORSO makes sure comfort is in every clothing piece by using sustainable material blends in majority of its garments.
